HAWAIIAN SUNRISE x NINA LIMONE
The Aloha Limone is an inspiring and grounded Sativa-leaning hybrid, the cross of Hawaiian Sunrise with Nina Limone. Hawaiian Sunrise contributes its mysteriously sweet, yet spicy, tropical fruit flavor. While the Nina Limone (Super Lemon Haze x Rebel God Smoke) complements with its earthy citrus aromas. This cross emphasizes the tropical fruit tones of both lines with augmented yields.
Yields typically produce beautiful lime green, large calyx buds that mature in a variety of fall colors. This is a go-to for a bright and vibrant start to your day.

Very slow grower, not an easy one for beginners. I’m doing a dual-test run with 2 plants: 1 plant is being grown standard, the other with the SCROG method. I gotta say, the two plants have grown at the exact same rate – the LST is not increasing the yield on this one…HOWEVER the terp profiles are soooo much better on the SCROG plant. So in conclusion i’d say this particular genetic does well with LST, however it didn’t increase my yield whatsoever. That being said, touch your plant, give it some stress, and you’ll be amazed and the spicy fruitiness of this cultivar. The difference in smells between the two plants is extreme, i wouldn’t even guess that they’re the same genetic.
That being said this plant is TINY!!!! I had a 3rd plant growing with these two (Animal Cookies) and the animal cookies plant was literally like 3000% larger. I’m not kidding. I trimmed about 75 leaves off the Animal Cookies a week before flipping to flower, whereas the Aloha Limone plants were incredibly small (maybe 7 inches tall max) and had zero leaves worth trimming at that point. After 2 weeks of flower, i trimmed 3 to 4 leaves off each Aloha Limone. Incredibly small plants, very disappointed with that – but like i said the terp profile of the SCROG Aloha Limone was really fantastic.
I’m planning on trying a second run with this genetic, going to try and contact the Colorado Seed company to get some advice since their website is TERRIBLE!!!! I would love to see wayyyy more information about the genetics on the website….Like what kind of environment are you guys finding success growing these plants in? Is Colorado Seed Company exclusively live soil, hydroponics…what’s the actual grow time, what’s the actual yield in weight, is this plant better performer outdoors vs indoors….etc…it would be extremely helpful to have some information.
Also something worth noting that’s missing from the website, is the lack of terpene information about these genetics. I couldn’t care less how much THC is in the plant, i want to know the flavor and effects, so i can chase my preferred medicinal and recreational benefits. Another thing i’d love to see from Colorado Seed Company is more feminized seeds. I travelled to every single dispensary that stocks your seeds in the Denver – Boulder area, and they all only carried 1 feminized seed from you guys….it’s very very strange how difficult it is to buy//find seeds around these parts.
That being said, i can’t really recommend this strain to people….it’s tasty but after months of paying for grow lights and other grow-related expenses my plants produced an embarassingly small crop. Absolutely not worth the cost of production, or the overpriced cost of these seeds. MJ Seeds should be like $2 each, any more than that is absolutely insane, the market mark-up on the hemp seed industry is disappointing.

Good strain. We grow outdoors, in-ground, and it is a moderately easy strain to grow but can be touchy if not watched. Writing this review in the midst of a heat wave in the southwest, New Mexico. 100+ temps for well over a week. This strain doesn’t not like heat. In April, I started extra seeds and gave away pre flower females to friends. In the middle of this heat all three plants in different yards and growers went hard male (exploded) within 36 hours of each other. Not a complaint against anything or anyone. This is my third year with this strain (all seeds from the company and not previous grows) and will grow it again. Just keep your babies cool I guess.

Next level genetics, very impressed with this one. This is one of my top 2 favorites that i’ve grown. The high is so euphoric and fun, but relaxing. It’s super heady, possibly due to my longer flowering time. I chose to harvest when the trichromes were a little more orange than usual, def more than 20%. Still sativa, but the higher orange count may have contributed to the heady relaxed part of the high. Aloha Limone is great for smoking during outdoor activities, it’s my favorite for days on the water fishing. Next level buds, seriously. Absolutely gorgeous finisher in flower, super photogenic color changes. Orange and deep reds and yellows. The smell is exactly as described, like a pineapple rotting in the hawaiian sun haha. It smells amazing. I’m hoping to find another seed pack and grow this one again!!! Wish i’d kept a clone for a mother plant :/
